Terms of use and sale

Last updated 17 October 2026.

Who we are

These terms are between you and Zaki SMMA Ltd, a UK-based company (company no. 16106560, registered office 4th Floor, 14 Museum Place, Cardiff, Wales, CF10 3BH), which operates serpschool. Contact: sam@zakismma.co.za.

What we offer

A video course, live cohorts and a traineeship teaching SEO. Cohort and traineeship terms (price, dates, hours, selection) are given to you in writing before you enrol and form part of your agreement.

No accreditation, no guarantees

Our programmes are not accredited by any education authority. We do not promise a job, clients, income or any particular result. Examples of results shown on the site are individual and not typical.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in South African rand. The video course is R999 for the first 10 buyers, then R1,497, paid once with no instalments. Payment is handled by Teachable's payment processing (teachable:pay). The launch price applies to the first 10 buyers only. Tax invoices are available on request. Zaki SMMA Ltd is not VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged on prices.

Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 7 days of buying the video course if you have completed less than 20% of its lessons. See the refunds page. This does not limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Your access

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to watch the course for yourself. Access lasts 3 months from purchase. Do not share your account, copy, resell or publish the course materials.

Traineeship

The traineeship is a training programme, not employment. Trainees do not receive pay. Work done is supervised training work. You pay a training fee for mentoring, feedback and supervised projects. You are not an employee of ours or of the client, and you are not owed wages.

Our content and your work

We own the course and site content. You keep ownership of the work you create. For traineeship projects, who owns the work and how it may be shown is set in the written terms you accept before you start. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the client owns the deliverables made for them, and you may show your own contribution in your portfolio with the client's permission.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, attempt to break or overload it, or use it unlawfully.

Liability

We are not liable for losses we could not reasonably foresee, or for results you do or do not achieve using what you learn. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the product concerned.

Law and disputes

Governing law and courts: the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales. South African consumers keep any rights that cannot be waived under South African consumer law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes do not affect purchases already made.
